Message From Lecturer, Studio Art

KU Art and Design is pleased to present another edition of the BFA Exhibition Project by the class of 2020. This exhibition is an accumulation of their four years of the academic year. This is the time when the students show their talents and creativity as they have worked for four years towards their degree.

Covid-19 spread all over the world on the verge of their final academic year. The whole world slowed down and it was a moment of a pause to reflect. Eight students from Studio Art and thirteen students from Graphic Communication Design has developed a project where their thoughts, skill, and imagination come into a form. In their final project, the forms and contents are a vital reflection. Students are allowed to develop their projects in Studio Art on the basis of their experience, thinking, and emotions. However, they are encouraged to carry out research related to their multidisciplinary subject. In Graphic Communication, students deal with problem-solving projects and develop a final project that includes the subject and design to the core of communication.

Creation and destruction are inevitable. This pandemic has brought the opportunity to engage with the self. We rise from the adversity that flowing immense energy to create and we continue to do so.
