As a regenerative farmer, I have an inherent attachment to the land. Having worked in the rural areas around Makawanpur and some regions, I find a feeling of disconnectedness between the new generation and their native farming practices with a disinclination towards soil, As a result of modernization, the new generations who are into farming have been adopting modern technology, which is great for the higher production yields. However, the land seems to be changing rapidly towards suffering. The change in philosophies between traditional and modern farming has led me to question who the land is and what this land means to us.
Yet, there is always room for art and science in the field of agriculture. In my art practice I work with a collection of keys, a means to unlock and show the importance of safe soil, and to promote rural life and agriculture-based society
