We sit at the top, peering down at destruction with no remorse whatsoever. Our conscience is clouded by pride. The good lies within us and the bad lies in others. We claim to be just. This is embedded in the fabric of our lives, since our earliest recorded history we have changed our narratives to feed our greed. Our ego and conscience conjures up symbols and stories. We delude ourselves in claims to be just, deafened to the woes and cries that surround us, deafened by all the glory from above. These works explore the enigma of our existence, from age-old myths to our lives today. Why are we constantly struggling to remain at the top? What are the reasons for our actions and the roots of our beliefs?
