Though we may think that only women wear jewelry, there have been times in history when men have decorated themselves with gold and jewels as much as, or even more than women. Conventional attitudes about masculinity were not always the norm. In more recent times the codes governing masculinity have been loosening up, and the traditional lines between masculine and feminine fashion are blurring. Although jewelry has been conventionally a female domain, we’re now seeing men experimenting with it more than ever before.
